A&E

"Armadillo"
Insurance adjuster Lorimer Black (James Frain of "The Count of Monte Cristo") heads to an ordinary business appointment and finds a dead man hanging from a water pipe. The ordeal that ensues seems to involve everyone he's ever met in an elaborate conspiracy that may cost him his future.
Airs Saturday, Aug. 3 at 9 p.m. ET

"Lathe of Heaven"
Living in the near future, George Orr (Lukas Haas) is cursed with the ability to alter the world with his dreams. As a result, he nearly drugs himself to death in order to stay awake. His court appointed therapist, Dr. Haber, (James Caan) encourages Orr to use his power to change the world, with hazardous consequences.
Airs Sunday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. ET

"The Lost World"
An adaptation of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic. A British scientific team's 1911 expedition into the Amazon jungle leads them to creatures long believed to be extinct. The creative team behind the BBC series "Walking with Dinosaurs" provides the special effects.
Part One airs Sunday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET.
Part Two airs Monday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET

"Traitor: Benedict Arnold"
Aidan Quinn stars as the infamous historical figure who was once a decorated soldier in the Continental Army serving under George Washington (Kelsey Grammer, "Frasier"). After a series of betrayals and personal failures, he meets and falls in love with a British sympathizer who leads him to doubt his commitment to the American Revolution.

"Night Fight"
Christopher Plummer ("A Beautiful Mind" ) and Edward Woodward ("The Equalizer") star in this film about the aftermath of a WWII night raid over Germany. Over 50 years after their comrade Tommy was killed on the bombing mission, Harry and Vic meet a conman who claims to be Tommy's son, but has hidden ties to Harry.
Airs Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. ET, 11 a.m. PT

"A Private Function"
Michael Palin ("Monty Python's Flying Circus") and Maggie Smith ("Gosford Park" ) star in this comedy about a small town in post-WWII England. When Princess Elizabeth announces her wedding plans, the local government discovers that the pig intended for the celebration dinner has been stolen.
Airs Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. PT

"A Rather English Marriage"
Reginald (Albert Finney, "Erin Brockovich" ) and Roy (Tom Courtenay) decide to move in together after their wives die on the very same night. They overcome their differences and become friends until the arrival of Liz (Joanna Lumley, "Absolutely Fabulous"). Reggie is in love, but Roy suspects that Liz is more interested in his money.

"The Safe House"
After her wealthy parents are found murdered, Finn is housed with trauma psychologist Dr. Sam Graham. Sam discovers that Finn has seduced her live-in boyfriend and tracks them down at an isolated beach, where she finds them both shot dead. The police rule it a suicide, but Sam thinks otherwise, and sets out to find the truth.

"What Rats Won't Do"
Two twentysomething lawyers clash while working opposite sides of a high-profile case. As action in the courtroom heats up, so does their relationship. The romantic comedy explores the eccentricities of the British legal system.

"Smothered"
In the late '60s, Dick and Tom Smothers faced off against CBS censors upset with their edgy variety show, "The Smothers Brother's Comedy Hour." The political comedy and constant shots at the Vietnam War and President Nixon got the brothers fired from CBS. They successfully sued the network and changed television history.

"The Interrogation of Michael Crowe"
Actress Ally Sheedy stars in this original movie about the controversial interrogation and coerced confession of a 14-year old California boy. When his 12-year old sister was found stabbed to death, police focused their investigation on her brother, Michael. He maintained his innocence until police lied that they had proof that he killed her. He confessed even though he was innocent. Four years later, another man was convicted for the murder.

"The Scream Team"
When siblings Ian and Claire Carlyle come to Steeple Falls for their grandfather's funeral, they discover that the town's legendary ghost, Zachariah Kull, is refusing to let Grandpa Carlyle's soul rest in peace. The Carlyle kids are determined to help him, and enlist the aid of three local spirits, called The Scream Team.

"The Last Cowboy"

"Snow Queen"
This original miniseries is the first live-action production of Hans Christian Andersen's story about a young woman who is forced to do battle with the wicked Snow Queen for the soul of her betrothed. Bridget Fonda ("The Chris Issak Show," "Kiss of the Dragon" ) stars.

Lifetime

"Obsessed"
Jenna Elfman ("Dharma and Greg" ) stars in this movie based on a true story. Medical writer Ellena Roberts is arrested for harassing a renowned physician with whom she claims to have had an affair. As Ellena and her lawyer, Sara Meyers, prepare for trial, Sara begins to question Ellena's sanity as she delves deeper into her client's life.
Airs Monday, Sept. 16 at 9 p.m. ET

"The Pact"
Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") plays Melanie Gold, the mother of a teenage girl who kills herself in a suicide pact with her boyfriend. The boyfriend, Chris Harte, survives, and Mullally's character lashes out at him and his family. Complicating matters is the fact that his mother, Gus Harte, is Melanie's lifelong friend.

"Taken"
Stephen Spielberg executive produces this miniseries about three families with crucial roles in the history of alien abduction and government conspiracy. Beginning in the skies over France during WWII, "Taken" unfolds over ten nights as the secrets unravel and lead to the events of the present day.

"Bang Bang You're Dead"
This original film explores the disturbing epidemic of school violence. A high school drama teacher encourages a troubled student to act out his fears and anxieties in a controversial play. Tom Cavanagh ("Ed"), Randy Harrison ("Queer as Folk"), Janel Moloney ("The West Wing") and Ben Foster ("Big Trouble" ) star.

"Conviction"
Based on his autobiographical account of Carl Upchurch, this original movie tells the story of a young man who spends most of his early life in and out of prison. Encouraged by a prison teacher who sees his potential, Carl graduates from college while still in prison and becomes a crusader for non-violence. Starring Omar Epps ("Love and Basketball," "ER"), Dana Delany ("Pasadena," "Presidio Med") and Charles S. Dutton ("Random Hearts" ).

"The Big Time"
Executive producer John Wells ("ER," "The West Wing") brings this original movie about the early days of television to TNT. Set in Manhattan in 1948, the film stars Molly Ringwald, Michael B. Silver ("NYPD Blue," "ER") and Dylan Baker ("Road to Perdition" ).

"Dominick Dunne Presents: Murder in Greenwich"
Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: SVU" "Oz") stars as Detective Mark Fuhrman in the movie based on Fuhrman's book about the Martha Moxley murder. In 1975, the 15-year old Moxley was found murdered in her affluent Greenwich, Connecticut neighborhood. Kennedy family nephews Tommy and Michael Skakel were suspects, but police never cracked the case. Years later, Dominick Dunne gave the case files to Fuhrman, and pushed the case forward.
