Robbery Homicide

When a serial rapist graduates to murder, the robbery homicide team
turns its investigation to a pornography Web site. Complicating matters
is an inexplicable change in the killer's pattern -- he once preyed
exclusively on wealthy women, but this latest victim is a high-priced
call girl. Things get ugly when the dead woman's best customer, a
Hollywood studio executive, refuses to help the detectives.

When a senile woman is found wandering and abused she is unable to
describe her attacker or the attack to Detectives Benson and Stabler.
At first they suspect her uncaring son, but as all "Law & Order" fans
know, the first suspect is usually the wrong one. The investigation
eventually leads to the woman's last residence, an assisted-living
facility where one administrator gives the detectives a harsh lesson
about depending on the kindness of strangers. Jane Powell, Jay Thomas
and Mary Kay Place guest star.
Monk: Mr. Monk
Meets the Red-Headed Stranger

When country star Willie Nelson's long-time manager is killed, the
police believe the musician is the murderer. A star-struck Monk is
convinced otherwise, however, and sets about proving the innocence
of his dead wife's favorite singer. As an added bonus, Monk gets to
ride on Nelson's tour bus -- it's the bomb.
