That Was Then

The second of two new shows about dissatisfied men who go back in
time to high school can best be described by lazy people as "Peggy
Sue Got Married" meets "Groundhog Day." Travis Glass had a really
bad week when he was in high school. In fact, he can trace everything
that is wrong with his life to those days in 1988. On the eve of his
30th birthday, he is sent back in time and gets another chance to
do things right. However, when he returns to the present, Travis realizes
that not all change is good.

Tom Sizemore ("Black Hawk Down," "Saving Private Ryan") stars as the
edgy leader of a Los Angeles police unit specializing in high profile
crimes. In the debut episode, the team is called to investigate two
separate murders which may be connected. The shooting outside a Koreatown
nightclub and the massacre of a family share prime suspects: a white
supremacist ex-prison gang and an undercover narcotics officer.

In the season premiere, Detectives Benson and Stabler search for an
ex-con who is sexually assaulting prostitutes -- but one of his intended
victims kills him before they can make an arrest. Before they can
say thanks for the help, another homicide reveals what may be a string
of brutal murders by a skillfully manipulative female serial killer.
Guest star Sharon Lawrence ("NYPD Blue") is on the wrong side of the
law this time.

David Morse stars as a disgraced cop turned cab driver who goes the
extra mile to help people in this new series. As an added bonus, he
won't run the meter on the extra helping mile.
