Big Brother 3
9:00 P.M. EST -CBS-
Last night, another guest was voted out of the house, perhaps doomed to spend the next few weeks in a tropical paradise where they cannot see or hear what is happening in the "Big Brother 3" house. (You should be so lucky.) In any case, this episode is airing one night early to make room for NFL football on Saturday. Pray that losing a full day of taping in the house won't result in less grooming or sunbathing footage.

Dateline NBC: Plane of Gold
8:00 P.M. EST -NBC-
In 1948, Northwest Airlines flight 44-22 crashed in the remote, glacier-covered mountains of Alaska, killing all thirty passengers. Both the FBI and the Air Force unsuccessfully attempted to locate the plane, but the dangerous location made it almost impossible. Eventually, rumor spread that the craft had been loaded with gold from China, and the race to find the wreckage was underway.

48 Hours Part 1 of 2: Krystal's Courage
8:00 P.M. EST -CBS-
While the girls were at a sleepover, a violent drifter murdered 13-year-old Kaylene Harris and slashed the throat of 10-year-old Krystal Surles, leaving her for dead. What Surles did next may have stopped this country's worst serial killer. "48 Hours" takes a look at her brave actions and how they led to the capture of this dangerous criminal. Part two follows at 10 p.m.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
9:00 P.M. EST -NBC-
The detectives investigate a baby black market. In case you were wondering, the black market sells babies -- it is not run by babies. Although that would also be pretty scary.

Stick Fights and Lip Plates
8:00 P.M. EST -DISC-
In southwest Ethiopia, the Surma people live almost untouched by the outside world. Camera crews capture their customs of stick fighting and lip plates. Before you feel superior, consider that Americans inject Botox into their faces.

The Breakfast Club
9:30 P.M. EST -TBS-
Anthony Michael Hall portrays a tortured young man who considers suicide when the elephant lamp he built in shop class won't light up when you pull the trunk. Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez and Ally Sheedy costar.

The Dead Zone: The House

Putting that whole "elephant lamp" incident behind him, Anthony Michael Hall stars as Johnny, a man with special powers who helps a despondent woman deal with the heroic death of her son.

Mel Gibson stars as a macho ad man who can suddenly read women's minds. He discovers that women really want stylish, comfortable shoes that look good and don't cost too much.

The E! True Hollywood Story: The Last Days of Elvis
