Mother
8:00 P.M. EST -NBC-
Most people do not move back in with their parents when they want to improve their love life, but that's exactly what Albert Brooks does in this comedy. Debbie Reynolds appears as his overbearing mom. She's also appeared Grace's overbearing mom on "Will & Grace" Dan's overbearing mom on "Roseanne" and Helen's overbearing mom on "Wings." This seems to be a trend. "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow and "Scrubs" doc John C. McGinley also appear.

Brewster's Millions
8:00 P.M. EST -The WB-
Richard Pryor stars as a minor league pitcher who must spend $30 million in 30 days in order to inherit a $300 million fortune. You may think that this is a huge challenge, but remember, he is NOT the CEO of a large technology company! "7th Heaven" dad Stephen Collins and the ubiquitous "Law & Order" detective, Jerry Orbach, co-star.

Octopussy
8:00 P.M. EST -ABC-
The title alone thrills young men everywhere, but this Roger Moore-era James Bond flick also promises "a fake Faberge egg" and a "mad Soviet general." Really, who could ask for anything more? Maud Adams plays the titular spy, who will either seduce or try to kill 007. Hey, maybe she'll do both!

Sorority Life
8:30 P.M. EST -MTV-
The network that brought you "The Osbournes" takes you into the thrilling, "like, you know"-laden world of a group of pledges. Tune in for plenty of fake friendships, backstabbing and tears.

Spaceballs
9:00 P.M. EST -TBS-
In 1987, Mel Brooks tried to make a joke of the hugely successful "Star Wars" franchise. In 1999, George Lucas trumped him with "The Phantom Menace", but Brooks' film is still pretty funny.

The Agency
10:00 P.M. EST -CBS-
Terrorists plan to release anthrax in Washington D.C., which leads to mass confusion when Anthrax the band arrives in the capital on the same day! Okay, the band part is not true, but the CIA is still on alert.

The E! Hollywood True Story
8:00 P.M. EST -E!-
It was only supposed to be a three-hour tour, but everyone was surprised when this silly show became a huge hit. It turns out that some of the cast were not best "little buddies" after all.

Trading Spaces
8:00 P.M. EST -TLC-
Thank goodness for this show, which never fails to provide a refuge from bad Saturday night TV. On this episode, Laurie Smith designs a colorful basement rec room while Vern Yip brightens up a bedroom.

Stigmata
9:00 P.M. EST -USA-
Patricia Arquette is an atheist investigated by the Vatican after she begins showing the significant wounds. The Vatican has bigger problems now, but at the time, they were pretty worried.
