Amy, The First Multiple 'BB3' Evictee

Danielle © CBS Television

With so few guests left in the house, it's really hard to flesh out the hour. It's also hard to drum up a lot of controversy about the eviction, since it is now purely strategy and not a grudge match in any way.

Lisa is still suspicious that Jason and Danielle have something under the table, which makes her look rather dense until Amy proudly declares, "There are no alliances left in the house." Oh well, she's always been good for comic relief.

Danielle and Jason take a look back over the game and how their alliance has gone undetected and unbroken for so long. On week one, Danielle realized that since no one had approached her to form an alliance, it meant that she was a target. She made a pitch to Jason and he accepted.

Say what you will about Danielle's tendency to lie and manipulate, but she's been 100 percent loyal to Jason, and vice versa. "He's good, I'm evil, we balance each other out," she says. If they make it to the final two, this may be what costs her the game. Perhaps she does not see this.

The remaining four players sum up what got them this far in the game. Lisa credits her good fortune to patience and Amy singles out a sense of humor as the most useful trait. Jason and Danielle both say that loyalty and trust are what have gotten them to the final four.

In her conversation with Julie Chen, Danielle reveals why she never won HOH until this late in the game. She was throwing the competitions because she did not want to break her promise to Roddy. Citing her "deal with the devil," Danielle said that she had made an agreement to never put him on the block. That apparently didn't mean getting others to put him up, but technically, she never went back on her word.

When "Big Brother 3" checks in on four evicted houseguests, two of them are less than thrilled with Danielle's version of the truth.

The first evictee to show up is "Loony" Lori, who is happy to be back with her kids. She was a bit surprised to discover that her close "friend" Roddy voted for her in the first round, and recalls the argument she had with Danielle over Gerry's hygiene problems. As she watches the show with her kids, Amy's alcohol highlights get a "Tsk, tsk."

Tonya is also doing the "I love my kids" routine, and admits that she was hurt by speculation that she couldn't dress sexy and be a good mom. That said, she admits that the peanut butter bikini contest was probably not the best idea. After watching the tapes, she's glad she had her face-off with Amy and Marcellas and calls Danielle cunning and deceitful.

Eric is hanging out with his family, and briefly discusses his two-week suspension from his job at the fire department. He was a little worried about his mom's reaction to the racy footage of him and Lisa, but she was understanding. (One can only imagine Eric's mom thinking, "Thank goodness it wasn't Chiara!" ) He says that he feels like a winner because he met Lisa, and can't wait to see her after the show is over. It's the most romantic thing he's said since, "Hi."

Roddy went straight to Vegas after his eviction, perhaps in an effort to launch an esoteric trivia lounge act. Upon reviewing the tapes, he likens the Amy/Chiara battle to "Scarface" (which was a great catfight movie) and is still miffed about the "devil" nickname Danielle gave him. He says that people don't seem to understand that he's not in the house anymore. Maybe they should put him back there after the show is over.

When it comes time for Jason to announce who will be leaving the house, he picks Amy. It seems like Lisa would be more of a threat in the final, but Amy has been up for nomination six times and had stuck around. She was starting to look bulletproof.

As she heads out of the house for her second interview with Julie Chen, she gets in one last dig at Chiara. "I'll see you in six days," she tells the remaining three, adding, "I'll be bringing armed guards to the cast party."

When Julie asks her if she was surprised to be evicted, Amy gets in another zinger. "I expected to be here every Thursday night," she laughs. When she is informed of the Danielle/Jason alliance, Amy is surprised but not angry. She's rooting for Danielle to win it all.

Lisa, Danielle and Jason all taped their good-byes. Each one essentially says, "I really despised you when I first met you, but I like you now." Let's hope she gets help for the booze and cheese thing -- she's a sweet gal.

Amy's mom shows up with her dog, Bucky, who promptly pees all over the floor. Julie Chen laughs -- she may have done embarrassing things on live TV, but at least she never made this faux pas.

The remaining three houseguests are now ready for the final HOH competition. All are eligible, including the last HOH, Danielle. The winner will immediately evict one of the other two. It's a three-part game, but only the first part is shown.

There is a large pool in the backyard with the nomination box in the middle. Danielle, Jason and Lisa are told to take their house keys and climb into three tiny inflatable rafts. They paddle to the center of the pool and insert their keys in the box. Julie Chen now informs them that the last person to let go of their key wins the competition. Just to make things interesting, they will be pelted with freezing rain, and must bail out their raft with a plastic cup. Yippee!

The results will be shown on a special live "Big Brother 3" on Saturday, Sept. 21.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the evicted houseguests will return to decide the winner. In the event of a tie, the America's Choice competition will decide the outcome. Voting instructions will air on Saturday's show.

Hang in there! It's almost over.
